PressRadar

How it works

How relevant news monitoring gets into your AI.

PressRadar is an MCP server: a set of tools your AI assistant uses to search your sources. Three steps to set up – then you just ask.

  1. 1. Describe what matters

After signing up, a short questionnaire walks you through your profile. PressRadar uses it to decide which articles are relevant to you.

    • Role and industry
    • Topics and keywords
    • Exclusions – what you don’t want to see
    • Markets and languages
    • Goal: PR opportunities, industry monitoring, competitor news or research
  2. 2. Choose up to 10 sources

Pick from the catalogue or submit a website. One source is one publisher website; subpaths and aliases of the same publisher count once.

    • Automatic validation via feeds, sitemaps and sample articles
    • Visible status: active, checking, unsupported, blocked, needs review
    • Unsupported sources don’t use a slot
    • Request support for missing publications
  3. 3. Connect Claude or Codex

Create your personal workspace API key and add it in your client’s settings. Your assistant can then use the PressRadar tools.

    • The key is shown once
    • Only a hash is stored
    • Revocable at any time, one key per workspace
    • Never paste it into a chat

Then

What happens in the background

Collected every six hours
New articles from your active sources are gathered on a fixed schedule.
Grouped and scored
Articles about the same event are grouped into stories and scored against your profile. Model-generated assessments (Gemini) are labelled.
Retrieved on request
Your assistant retrieves results when you ask. Automatic briefings require a schedule configured in your client.
Details with provenance
Author information and public professional contact details where available – with the source page, never guessed emails.

Your own journalist data

Via MCP, your AI agent can store your own notes, contacts, social profiles and interaction history about journalists in your private workspace. Only your workspace sees this data, and it takes priority over publicly collected information.
